Black hands over Solamon reins to Yeo

(Toronto) – Solamon Energy is pleased to announce a re-structuring of the company, involving its two seniormost executives.  Effective immediately, Jay Yeo will amicably assume the mantle of president, and begin to execute the growth plan required to successfully exploit the existing, identified and new opportunities across the Caribbean.  Prior to the move, Yeo created the strategy to market and sell the Apollo Acre™ that Solamon designs and delivers under the supervision of founder Chris Black .  Yeo will now execute that strategy, and they will both begin to grow their management and support teams, in order that the company may continue to expand and grow in foreign countries.
“I’m happy to run the administrative and logistics side of the business,” says founder and president Chris Black, while handing over the reins to Yeo at a recent press conference.  Black is headquartered in Toronto and overseas various critical aspects of the business.  Upon securing each new customer, Black and his team will assign and oversee the personnel required to acquire and provide a suitable power array solution, whether using solely solar energy or a combination of equipment and technology to also include wind turbines.
“This process,” expands Black,”enables us to deliver a turnkey solution, which from soup to nuts is in my hands to ensure successful delivery to implementation teams on the ground.”  Yeo and his team, in the meantime, will be on the road over the next year developing relationships with local government officials, business leaders, newspaper editors and numerous associations.
Solamon Energy Corp. designs and installs integrated arrays of ground-mounted photovoltaic cells that are connected by cable to each other and to converters, batteries and transmission points, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre™.  Solamon is focused on packaging and delivering turnkey systems across the Caribbean, and seeks to open field offices in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados and Puerto Rico.
The company is excited not only to deliver turnkey power plants using renewable energy sources, such as sun and wind, to Caribbean countries but that will also generate jobs locally, in terms of their installation and subsequent maintenance.  Our executives are thus not only looking for locations and partners to manage each Apollo Acre™, adds Black, but to also establish a suitable training program for implementation teams in collaboration with relevant government agencies.
For each customer, Solamon Energy Corp. provides full management of each Apollo Acre™ installation, including site inspections, project design and development, as well as environmental and local permitting, 3rd party engineering, procurement, construction and system commissioning.
